Whether they are birth parents searching for a family to raise their baby or a couple looking to adopt, the internet is becoming a tool in the process. As a hopeful adoptive parent, your website can be used to give  potential birth parents a sneak peak at who you are and what you are about. As adoption professional, your website can be used to let others know of your services. Your site should be creative and welcoming as well as functional and efficient. As a birth parent is looking through online profiles, all the sites will start to blend in because many of them are so much alike and done in the exact same format just changing the personal info and photos from couple to couple.

With HeartMark Designs, your site is custom designed. Coley, the web designer and owner of HeartMark Designs, takes the time to get to know you so that she can custom design your web site so that it fits you and creatively portrays who you are! If you have an idea of what you would like your site to look like, Coley will do her best to deliver that to you. If you don't have a clue what you would like your site to look like, Coley will work with you to design a site that creatively tells who you are and fits your adoption needs.

Coley is also a birthmother and has had the pleasure of working with and getting to know many other birthmothers, so she uses those experiences in designing a birthmother friendly site.

Fees

Pricing varies depending on how many pages you would like on your site.  The standard site includes:

  • Home/Welcome Page
  • About Us Page
  • Dear Birthparent Letter Page
  • Picture Page
  • Contact Page

You can substitute one of the above pages for another. For example, if you wanted to have a journal page or maybe a vacation page, you could do this instead of the contact page and we could just add your contact info to the home page. You may add additional pages to the site for 20.00 a page.

 Pricing for the standard 5 page site is 125.00 design fee  plus 7 dollars a month maintenance  that is usually paid in advance for a year.  Half of the money is due when Coley begins designing and the other half is due when Coley is complete. If you adopt before the year maintenance  is up, Coley will make you a simple page on your site introducing your baby to the world!

Pricing does not include web hosting and domain registration. Coley can assist you in obtaining these though!  Coley suggests obtaining these through www.godaddy.com where the domain name (this is the .com or .net) is 8.95 a year and the hosting is 3.95 a month. Note: If you do not have a scanner or pictures on CD, I can scan them in for you if you mail them to me, but there will be an additional 10.00 fee as this is time consuming!
